Might be a good time for a round up of popular or good tripods/monopods, bags, other essentials as well to round up the suggestions.

I, for one, hope there’ll be a sale on lenses as well. I mean a real sale, not some 5 bucks off.

I never knew it was Thanksgiving last week
After searching for the “perfect” camera for half a year or so and driving myself crazy reading way too many reviews, I finally went into a store last week, held some cameras, took some snapshots and bought a Canon G9. Very happy with it!

My partner and i don’t know if all models hold the capacitive screen, but inside manual its stated the screen could be activated with droplets regarding water, hence, the key to lock screen. It’s also activated without touching it (annoying in the beginning), just get the actual finger really really close. Nery Redfox
