Bowler Camera Bag
If you’re looking for a camera bag that makes a fashion statement then this one might be for you – it’s a Bowler Camera Bag from our friends at Photojojo.
OK – so I personally can’t see myself with this one under my arm (my mates down at the pub would never let me live it down) but I just showed a picture of it to my wife and she’s already placing an order for her next birthday.
It has an adjustable padded divider so you can fit a range of sizes of cameras and their accessories in it and it has side pockets for other bits and pieces.
Check out full details of the bowler camera bag at Photojojo.

I’m sure I’ll look great with this one.
Really.
Bearded, 200 pounds guy, and this… sweet creation..
That will make a great photo, no doubt :)

I purchased this bag the day I got the email from PhotoJojo – found it online for MUCH cheaper at acmemade dot com for 39.95. The bag is really shiny and smells really plastic-y. My Nikon D80 is a really tight fit even with my 50mm lens, but it is possible to zip up. It’s a bit more flashy than i thought it would be – coming from someone who only has black/white/brown bags. :/ It’s really fun though! Don’t expect to bring anything else in it except for your camera, cleaning cloth, and maybe an small lens.

It’s about time they start making cool camera bags! But you are right, thanks for the mental images of you guys:)

My wife just got one and it’s compact, shiny and pretty. Her Nikon fits nicely and there’s plenty of room for a reasonably sized lens and a few accessories, or maybe a decent point and shoot. The zippered opening is interesting – a small strap (not really visible in the photos above, although you can just make it out in the top image) connects the two zippers, so you just pull the strap to open and close it in one swift motion. One thing it’s missing is a shoulder strap, which is a bit of a minus. As it stands you have to carry it around like a purse, which isn’t much good if you’re taking it up a mountain or even for a hike. I’d be afraid of putting it down somewhere and forgetting it.
I think it’s about time someone applied a sense of style to a camera bag. Like the other commenters here, I’d look pretty ridiculous carting this around, but I’m not the target market.

Yes, I can’t really see a man carrying one, but I’m a woman who has one and like it a lot. It’s great for taking your camera out to dinner and still looking fashionable. In fact, I get many comments on this “purse”! People don’t recognize it as a camera bag. The one downside is a size limitation, you can’t put your camera in here with a longish lens on it.

So without a shoulder strap, you have to hold it hanging from your elbow while you shoot ? Isn’t that a bit of a bother ?
A bag looking nice is a good idea. But it probably should be practical too…

It’s about time some companies come up with a “girly” camera bag. This isn’t the one I’m looking for yet though. I want something I can put my 2 dslrs in with a long lens on one, and an extra lens or 2, my CF cards, a reflector, an extra battery, plus my car keys and a wallet and a maybe a lipstick. A few weeks ago I was going to a charity silent auction and dinner dance. On my way out the door someone texts me to bring my cameras to take pictures, so I just grabbed the bag. About half way there (an hour drive) I realized I was going to be in a fancy black and white silk evening dress and dragging around my army green camera bag. Someone really needs to come out with something dressier for us girls.

I did the same thing that Kara did: ordered it online from the manufacturer the day I first saw it. It was my Mother’s Day present. I carry my Nikon D80 in it, and sure hope it will hold fit with my 18-200mm VR lens. Oh, wait – unfortunately I don’t have an 18-200mm VR lens. But if I ever do, I surely hope it will fit in my groovy little bag.
