Behind the Scenes of a Huge Light Painting Project
Light Painting is something we’ve written numerous times about here on dPS – but this week I stumbled upon a video that takes it to a whole new level in a commercial shoot of the Intercontinental Hotel in Miami.
In the video Mike Butler and his team light and photograph this iconic hotel.

I’m sure glad we have such talented artists to show us how limits can be ever pushed!

Great skills. Just shows how much immense pre-visualizing, planning and execution goes into such a commercial shoot. Cannot help but be curious to know how much the budget was for this shoot!

It would be nice if someone would know how much a shoot like this would cost. From the video, it’s about half a day meeting + looking around and visiting + 8 hours of light painting and shooting + 8 hours of post processing + travelling.
Who said 20000$ ?
