365 Grateful – A Photography Project that Could Change Your Life
In the last few days I had the privilege to meet Toni Powell – one of the creators of the 365 Grateful project.
I hope to feature more on the project in the coming months but wanted to share the above short video to introduce the concept because its something that is changing lives around the world – through photography – and is something that I know for a fact many dPS readers and members would get a lot out of both in terms of their photography but also (and more importantly) in terms of life.
Check them out at 365 Grateful and Like them on Facebook here.

I am Gratefull, it was not us
my deepest condolences for the victims and its families

Gratefulness is something most (if not all) of us are lacking. A great project, it goes far beyond the appreciation of photography alone.

I loe this idea, and because it feels so right, I started a new blog! “Perpetual Gratitude: A Daily Photo Diary” at http://perpetualgratitude.wordpress.com. This blog is brand spanking new, and I plan to updated it daily with photos and comment of all the things that I am grateful for. THANK YOU 365 Gratitude Project!

Excellent post, and very timely indeed! I’ve found myself needing to slow down and find what make it all worthwhile and gratitude was the word that kept coming to mind. I have a 365 project and this may just be added to it!

What a great idea!! Thanks for sharing it, Darren! I signed up on their website, and I’m changing my 365 Project that I was already doing this year into a 365 Gratitude Photography Project! Thanks again!

In 2008 I started a similar project with my 365 blog. http://clammy365.blogspot.com It is amazing to see even the littlest things that I am grateful for. And it is a project that I am still doing (except this is the first year that I haven’t been able to post everyday =( . But still, with every post I add what I am grateful for for that day. I am glad to see so many people wanting to try this out. I love doing it! =)

This is a great project. I’m thinking of doing it, but would include it in my 365Project that I did last year and have continued to update on occasion this year. Thinking….

Far too much of our lives is spent wishing we were somewhere else, with someone else, doing something else with other stuff. And while there’s nothing wrong with looking forward to “even better” … THE best way to get to “even better” … is to really enjoy NOW. Let your self relax and really enjoy everything you can about every NOW there is. And you’ll find that things get even better … with amazing ease. This is a great project. A real exercise in truly living and not just daydreaming or complaining our lives away. Thanks for sharing this.

I am gonna start this project today. I always saw people doing this but I didn’t know the meaning behind it, and now that I do I feel like I have to do this. I am really excited to get started!!!

Powerful. Thanks for this. I really enjoyed it and the weekly newsletters.

She needs to remove the words “amazing,” “exciting,” and “beautiful” from her vocabulary in favor of words that convey actual meaning. Otherwise I like the concept.

I started mine back in February of this year and I’m currently on day 103. I love this project so much. Some days it is harder than others but I can’t tell you how much I enjoy it and how much it inspires me and others that look at it. http://www.malulani365.blogspot.com
