Love this round-up, I haven’t had a chance to check out all the photos yet but I will. This year I am determined to push my photography to the next level, I already take food shots for my blog, but now is the time to crank things up a gear in food and beyond…next year I will be a participator and not just a reader!! Now I’ve put that out there I’ve just made myself accountable…no stopping now

Some gorgeous work. I particularly like the abandoned building/civilization photos, though I’m not a huge fan of the ethereal HDR work, I still enjoy looking at it. The black and white portraits are right up my alley

Images like these really do motivate you to improve your skills. If I didn’t have a loving wife and 3 kids under 5, I’d spend much more time out practicing. However, until the kids get old enough to help with chores, I’ll have to take the few opportunities I currently get.

These are great. I’ve used suprsetr to create my more interesting posts of 2012 according to flickr. http://www.flixelpix.com/life/top-40-photos-of-2012/ it is interesting to group your images by keyword. Love these though.

These photos are stunning. I particularly like the ones that show great depth of field. The blue picture with the mountain reflected in the lake, Is breath taking.

Great photo collections! And inspirational! All the photographers should be commended, and the people who put these collections together, as well. It’s exactly what I needed on this cold Friday morning, with nothing to do but look at great photos. Thanks again.
