Stampede

I enjoyed finding this image by James Forsyth today on Flickr.

The image creates tells and story and conveys movement but I think it’s also a great example of how using a tight framing of your subject (or in this case subjects) creates a sense of infinity. By framing this shot to not include the full herd of wildebeast there’s a sense that this shot is only a small part of a much larger scene which leaves the viewer imagining what is happening outside the frame.
