Moving Photography from a Hobby to a Business

We’re proud to welcome Six Figure Photography on as a sponsor of DPS.

One of the questions that I get asked increasingly by readers is ‘how can I make money from my photography?

My own experience of Photography as a Business is limited. While I’ve taken on quite a few photography jobs it’s largely been through word of mouth. The fact is that I just don’t have time to go Pro and I’m still enjoying learning my craft anyway.

However some of you do want to take your photography to the next level and will probably be interested in looking into a new resource being developed by Shane Goldberg called Six Figure Photography.

Yesterday I spent a little time chatting with Shane yesterday. Some of you will know him from his Pro Photo Secrets Photoshop videos and his Photoshop Elements tutorials which I’ve recommended here previously. His video tutorials are excellent and I’ve had a lot of positive feedback from them.

However he’s now also developing Six Figure Photography which is a course for people wanting to learn how to turn their photography into a business. He’s still getting it ready launch but currently has a sign up form for people interested in hearing more about it at his site.

I’m yet to see the resource so can’t tell you much more than what Shane has told me but it sounds like he’s pulled in some successful photographers and if it’s like his Photoshop Tutorials it should be pretty good.

Sign up to get the inside work when it launches at Six Figure Photography.
