Grab a Copy of the Going Pro Kit at 40% off and Get a Chance to Win an iPad 2

0Comments

Two weeks ago dPS launched our brand new ‘Going Pro’ kit – a resource for photographers wanting to turn their passion for photography into an income stream. It was launched with a 40% discount on its regular price.

The kit includes 2 comprehensive eBooks as well as two hours of audio interviews with 4 Photography Pros (full details here).

Since that time we’ve had such a wonderful response from readers with many excited about how the kit is helping them explore how to:

  • earn some extra spending money doing something you love
  • speed up the process to turning photography into a full blown career

I’ve just added some of these testimonials to our Going Pro’ page.

As a result of the positive response (and because some of our readers missed our launch with 4th July) we’ve decided to extend our 40% launch discount for one more week and we’re also going to throw in a 16GB iPad 2 as a prize for one lucky buyer of the kit.

So for just one more week this kit will be available for just $29.99 USD before it returns to its regular price of $49.99 USD.

Win an iPad 2

As an extra special bonus if you buy Going Pro you’ll also go in the draw to win a 16GB iPad 2 (your choice of color) if you act this week. The iPad is the perfect way to read our eBooks (our eBooks are PDFs and viewable on computers, iPads and other PDF reading devices) so we thought it the perfect gift for one lucky buyer.

Note: all previous buyers of the GoingPro Kit are automatically in the draw for the iPad – you don’t have to do anything further to enter.

The 40% discount and the iPad competition close next Tuesday night (19th July) at midnight US Eastern time. The winner will be contacted via email at that time.

For full details of what’s included in the Going Pro kit and to order yours – check out the Going Pro Page today.

PS: Don’t forget our standard 60-day money-back guarantee protects this and all dPS resource purchases.

  • First ebook I’ve ever bought. WOW, what a great deal – two books plus audio files. I don’t even really plan on going pro but bought it for interest sake and it’s a wonderful read. It really puts a perspective into the world of professional photography and the different types of business models. If you are even thinking of it for stock photography it’s a MUST HAVE!!!

is this contest open to Canadian residents?

  • Larry Richardson

How do I get this going pro book?

  • FYI your links don’t seem to be working right. All the links to the going pro kit link back to the homepage.

  • Spencer

Yes! Great deal! Love the books!

But I do not see where you get the videos. They were not included in my download.

  • Hi

Another high quality and useful set of books for anyone even thinking about turning their passion into some income. I wouldn’t advocate dropping your Day Job just yet, but reading this will give you a great idea of what it would take for you to do just that!

    Hi,

I already bought the ebook with same discount, but before the iPad2 giveaway was announced. My purchase was last week. Am i still eligible for the iPad2 giveaway? How do i register for it?

    Thanks

    Bhavesh

  • Dennis Taylor

I paid for a copy of this but every time I try to download the link will lock up. There was no problem with the audio files. Is there anouther link I can use
    Thanks Dennis

  • Thanks Erik and Richard – really appreciate your kind words.

    Fixed those links DigitalOxygen

  • Rob

Ive purchased most of the books in the except one or two. Ive always found them to be very helpful. When I first saw this today I thought I would be out of luck on the drawing and cursed that I usually buy the books soon after they come out. Thanks for including the early adopters of this particular book as well!

  • Jim

Would really rather have a Hard copy and discs.

  • Absolutely love the books and audio files!!!
    Great purchase.

  • Yeah very good ebook. Highly recommended!

  • Janice

I too would rather have hard copies rather than ebooks. Being on the computer is not comfortable. Also I can put the book in a bag and read waiting for an appointment, while my husband is driving, and various different times when you don’t have access to a computer. A book is much lighter too. I have purchased a few ebooks and had trouble getting them from the links. Some I was never able to get. Won’t buy ebooks again.

  • edward

so…is this open to canadian residents?

  • Silvius

I bought the kit but couldn’t download it. Waiting on customer service to get back to me. 🙁

  • Edward – yes, our competition is global – we’ll ship the ipad anywhere.

  • Janice – unfortunately we just don’t have the resources to create hard copy books at this point. Until a publisher comes on and works with us on it we’re unlikely to be able to do so. Apologies, we know eBooks are not for everyone but as a small company we have to do what we can do.

  • Dennis – please email us via our contact form and we’ll get the download to you via another way.

  • Bhavesh – as we mention in the post above, anyone who has previously bought this eBook is already in the draw – you don’t need to do anything.

    thanks!

  • Kerry Mietzel

Hi does anybody know if I can download book to my iPad? Thanks Kerry

  • @kerry: the download page for the audio links says the following:

IPAD USERS NOTE: you will need to download the zip file to a computer and then upload the eBooks to your iPAD as Apple don’t support Zip Files. Once uploaded you can view the eBooks via a PDF reading application or iBooks.

  • Who won the iPad?
