The digital photography industry has been undergoing huge change over the past 2-3 years.
While DSLRs ruled the roost just a few years ago in recent years we’ve seen the rise of smaller mirrorless interchangeable lens systems as well as the huge rise in use of cameras in smart phones.
In the last 24 hours the team at DPReview have published an interesting (ok… interesting for ‘gear geeks’) series of interviews with representatives of most of the major camera manufacturers.
Each interview below is gives the rep to walk viewers through some of their recent releases but more interesting to us are questions around the changes in the industry.
What’s fascinating to us is the innovation among manufacturers like Sony, Fujifilm and Olympus in the mirrorless segment and that Canon and Nikon both take the line that they are ‘monitoring’ that market.
We also watched with interest just how many men there are representing this industry!
