DPS Competition Winners

Back in February I announced a Forums Competition giving members a chance to win some great photography books by submitting a digital camera review in the Area of the forums.

Today I have great pleasure in announcing the winners. One member gets their choice of 5 of the following 10 digital photography books and 10 members get to choose 1 of the books.

Here are the books up for grabs:

1. The Digital Photography Book by Scott Kelby
2. Understanding Exposure: How to Shoot Great Photographsby Bryan Peterson
3. Digital SLR Pro Secrets by David Busch
4. Complete Digital Photography by Ben Long
5. Perfect Digital Photography by Jay Dickman
6. The Complete Guide to Night and Low-Light Photography by Lee Frost
7. Digital Macro Photography by Ross Hoddinott
8. Mastering Digital SLR Photography by David Busch
9. Photoshop Finishing Touches by Dave Cross
10. The Photoshop Channels Book by Scott Kelby

Many of the reviews submitted were of a high quality. Canon cameras were the most popular brand (far out weighing other brands) and this is reflected in the winner’s list.

And the Winners are (selected randomly):

Winning their choice of 5 of the above books is sdjl for their Canon EOS 5D Review

And each winning their choice of 1 of the above books:

I’ll be contacting each of the winners in the coming day to get details of which book they’d like and where they want it sent. Congratulations to everyone who won something and thanks to all others who contributed!

PS: my apologies for the delay in announcing this. I had the winners randomly drawn and then my computer crashed and needed to go in for repairs with me unable to retrieve them. Now it’s back and working I’ve got them up as quick as possible.
