Shooting Living Posters with a Red One Camera [Where Video and Still Photography Converge]

The team at Alex Henry Photography shot this video to show how they created a ‘Living Poster’. They shot with the Red One Camera – which they used to create promotional posters for a movie that at a first glance are still shots – but which come alive.

Andrew Gant described the Living Poster concept to me in an email this week as:

“What begins as a still image suddenly comes alive when the characters move, perform an action, and then resolve back to the poster frame. We are very excited about all the possibilities with the convergence of photography and motion and know it has many opportunities.”
