I would like the Tamron SP 70-300 mm F/4-5.6 Di VC lens. Cutting it short, I love photography and I dont think there’s a better reason for me to win this beautiful Tamaron lens.

I’ m a 16-year-old photographer from Greece who has set her eyes on the Tamron 17-50mm f2,8! This has been for months now my dream lens. While my classmates were obsessing about getting an iPhone or a new dress, I was daydreaming about a lens that would give me the ultimate ability of photographing effectively in low light. I want to be able to photograph people and situations in all light conditions, in other words, to take advantage of the existing light (I avoid using flash), to make powerful shots. I love the golden hour, but a day has another 23 hours in which I constantly find interesting subjects. Unfortunately, I only own a Nikon D3100 and it’s kit lens, which is pretty good, but often limits my possibilities. Any lens would be welcome, but the particular tamron 17-50mm will teach me to get closer to my subject and therefore, get to know it better. This, I believe, is the key to better photography. My aspiration is to become a photojournalist one day, though in my country this is not considered as an adequate way of making a living. It may sound a bit materialistic, but I have almost identified this tamron lens with my future as an independent photographer.

You are always welcome Kosta, yeah drop me a message here or on Facebook I will give you my contact number too. Have a good journey.

Hi! just out of curiosity, where will the results be published? It’s understandable that it take time to read, but it would definitely be great to at least have an idea of where the results would be, when they are confirmed 🙂

  • ??????? ???????

  • Choo Chiaw Ting

17-50 SP Tamron has great auto-focus performance, i love it.

  • sara

I do think that the 35mm is probably the better choice for the crop
sensor body. There have definitely been times where the 50mm is just too
    tight to get the framing I want. ????? ?????????? ???? ????

  • mona

The Black Widow velcro belt. Is it a good made belt and does the velcro do a good job of holding?
    ????? ????????? ???? ??????????????? ???? ???? ?????

  • DThornton

Since retiring I decided to take up photography again buying the Nikon D3200 along with a Tamron AF 70-300mm lens. Any of the prizes would be a great addition to my kit

  • Keona

I have always been very interested in photography but have never been able to afford any real gear. I received a Canon EOS 70D for a Christmas gift and I can’t put it down. The only way I would ever get one of these lenses would be for me to win one.

  • saurabh patil

I have been always following DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY SCHOOL for tricks and suggestions about various diffrent kind of photography skills. I am glad DPS runs such popular competitions for young enthusiastic aspiring photographers which is very helpful. I recently bought a Canon 1200D with 18-55 lens. I frequently go on photography outings with my friends. Most of them have tamron 18-200 lens. I envy them because always their clicks turn out to be more appealing than mine.
I always go through tamron sites for their lenses and its my dream to get one.

Tamron 18-270 f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD can provide a wideangle 18 to 270*1.6
which would prove to be a great gear for travel photography. Its a combo of two lenses which would be of great advantage.

I am interested in the Tamron SP 70-300 f/4-5.6 Di VC USD lens. I
have my 18-55mm kit lens, which doesn’t provide good zoom. As i travel with my friends for nature and wildlife photography, it doesn’t provide of great use. a SP 70-300 lens would be of great use to me for the same. This lens would help me clicking animals and birds which i love to. As i am an aspiring photographer i would love if i get one of these lenses from DPS.

  • Brian Goodwill

    BRIAN GOODWILL
I have recently taken up photograhy again after a break of about 25 to 30 years i am a retired man of 65+ and i find that carrying a lot of gear can be very hard, mainly i like to take photos of wildlife I.E birds and insects also I do landscape photography i am the owner of a SONY A550 camera i have a 28-85 minolta lenses and a old sigma 150-500 lense which is very heavy and not in the best condition as i bought it second hand if i could win the
Tamron 18-270 f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD it would solve a lot of problems for me as I would only need to take one lenses out with me as the SONY as a converter that would double the lens up to 810 m so I would have no problem with the Bird photography and I am sure They would be a lot sharper than with my old SIGMA 150-500 also the 18-270 would be great for landscape and anything else i might come across on my days out.

  • Shelly Squires

I would love to win the 16-300 Tamron lens. I am a photography student at Mott Community College in Flint Mi. I do all sorts of photography but my passion is macro and landscapes. It would be fantastic to have ONE LENS that would cover that broad
    spectrum.

  • Dan Crowley

There are times when the absolute quality is necessary to
achieve a perfect outcome. The Tamron 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di VC USD is a lens that
I could take to an event where I need to set my focal length to match my
subjects distance, and know the image will be in focus and sharp. This lens is
ideal for tracking moving objects like a bird in flight, or a kangaroo bounding
through the foreground. The vibration compensation will allow handheld shots to
hold focus longer, provide better exposure combinations, and help stabilise the
image in the viewfinder. Along with the extra low dispersion and low dispersion
elements, this lens will cope with all lighting situations. In addition, when I
need to focus manually, this lens has the ability to fine-tune that sharp edge
I am looking for. You cannot go wrong with a lens like this.

  • Roosmarijn Jongstra

I am still just an amateur with photography and I can’t afford those expensive lenses. How I would use the lenses? Easy, pretty much everything. If I win those lenses I will have wide angle and zoom and everything between those. It’ll be a great addition to my camera bag 🙂
