**update** WE HAVE A WINNER! — For the ThinkTankPhoto / dPS Facebook “Win a Retrospective 20” The winner is “Christine Unten” Congrats!!
I’m a bit of a camera bag addict, I love quality bags and that can be said for every piece of kit that I have from thinkTANK Photo (and I have a few!!) so when Brian emailed us to say that they were releasing a range of bags that looked old school but were built with “new school” in mind, we were pretty excited!! That was a while back, due to manufacturing delays and some cheeky volcano, delivery was delayed but now the day has finally arrived!
The wait is finally over! The much talked about Retrospective series of camera bags is now available to order from the website in Nth America, The rest of the world will follow shortly (When some volcano stops makes it tricky to ship things!) and we even managed to get a special dPS code that you can use on the www.thinktankphoto.com website to get yourself something extra for nothing if indeed you are in the market for a new camera bag. (read on)
Did I say you could WIN ONE?! Oh, and by the way, the very kind people over at Think Tank Photo have given us a bit of an exclusive draw for one of these pretty awesome bags… It’s dead simple – – You need to follow TTP and dPS on Facebook and then pop a comment in below to let us know! — It’s that simple!! The winner (selected randomly) will win a ThinkTankPhoto Retrospective 20 in your choice of color.
We’ll draw the winner randomly on 27 May at midday London (UK) time.
Created as an homage to classic photographers such as Henri Cartier-Bresson and Robert Frank, we’ve created five soft-sided shoulder bags in our new Retrospective™ series. Designed for the professional photographer that wants to remain inconspicuous in any situation, the three shoulder bags’ and two lens changer bags’ retro look mixes “Old-School” with “New-School” that is a throwback to the days when bags where visually simple but highly functional.
Here’s the Think Tank Photo promo that shows you how the bag sits when slung (In this case, on Doug, who is trying desperately not to be run over!)
ThinkTank Photo have a “no rhetoric warranty” and they’re also dead against using PVC in their gear… As I mentioned up above, if you’re in the market for a bag, you should start your search here and enter the special, secret code AP-223
