SHOES: Weekly Photography Challenge

This week your photographic challenge is to take and share an image on the theme of ‘Shoes’.

We did this theme back in 2009 and it was one of our most popular ones (and it was again suggested by Annie Chao on our facebook page) – I guess because its something we all have access to photograph and because shoes can be pretty unique and express the personality and lifestyle of those who wear them.

Take any approach that you like with this topic:

  • photograph your own shoes, or those of someone else.
  • photograph shoes being worn or without feet in them.
  • photograph 1, 2 or even a collection of shoes.
  • photograph them in a location that gives them context or in a clean simple background

It’s totally up to you.

Once you’ve taken your ‘Shoes’ Images – choose your best 1-2, upload them to your favourite photo sharing site and either share a link to them or – embed them in the comments using the our new tool to do so.

If you tag your photos on Flickr, Instagram, Twitter or other sites with Tagging tag them as #DPSSHOESto help others find them. Linking back to this page might also help others know what you’re doing so that they can share in the fun.

Also – don’t forget to check out some of the great shots posted in last weeks Toys challenge where there were some great shots submitted.
