Photo Walk: Weekly Photography Challenge

Photo Walk: Weekly Photography Challenge

This week your challenge is to tai a photo walk and to share a favourite image from it here with the rest of the dPS readership.

Modern Day Cowboys

You may wish to take a walk with a photographer friend or do it alone – it doesn’t really matter. You might want to do it locally near where you live or to go somewhere a little special to get some shots. It doesn’t really matter how you do it – the key is to take a walk with the specific purpose of taking some photos.

Once you’ve taken and selected the ‘Photo Walk’ image that you’d like to share – upload it to your favourite photo sharing site or blog and either share a link to it or – embed them in the comments using the our new tool to do so.

If you tag your photos on Flickr, Instagram, Twitter or other sites with Tagging tag them as #DPSPHOTOWALK to help others find them. Linking back to this page might also help others know what you’re doing so that they can share in the fun.

Also – don’t forget to check out some of the great shots posted in last weeks challenge – Best Friend challenge where there were some great shots submitted.

Am from South Africa - will be in London from about 3rd Aug until 9th Aug 2013. Have you any London street photo walks scheduled for that time? How long does one take and how much will it cost?

    Love "merry go round".

It was a pleasure during my photo walk, how very child and every parent were so enjoyed!

Fortunate enough to go to Norway for work. Decided I had to get some images of the landscape. This one is in Andoya, 200 miles north of the Arctic Circle.

    Hi there,

it's my first comment here on your site. Found it a few weeks ago and must say that it is really interesting and very helpful to read.

I would like to contribute to your weekly challenge. This picture was taken while walking along on Marinduque a small Island of the Philippines. Hope you like it - somehow...

Early evening of June 15th in Melbourne. Hand held pic of this interesting sculpture in front of the Treasury & Education Buildings, which abut the Fitzroy Gardens.

The photo was angle to suggest John Cain is holding the elaborate royal shield sculpture which adorns the entry colonnade beyond.

    A fun walk away shot.

In the meantime, here is my favourite from a walk I did with Exposure Leeds a couple of weeks ago. In Leeds, England.

    It was a brilliant day.
