yeah but some photos are really good… and those are the only that matter. and maybe you (like me) don’t understand that in stock photography it’s not about the photos it’s about how you can use them

The terms specifically state that they won’t sell your photo. Are you saying that they’ll violate the contest terms? Do you have some specific example of this happening in the past?

Or is this an assumption on your part? I can see how it would be easy to make that mistake — if you didn’t bother to look at the contest link at all.

I know it’s the Internet and all, but can’t someone for once make an accusation and provide some kind of support for it?

a. yes now there’s a blue pattern fading to white

b. the terms and conditions explicitly say that they will not take your photo away from you. and how many of us take better pictures that 5000$/pop?…

To note with this competition.. each image you submit you are handing over selling rights to the site.

They WILL sell your image, you may still own the copyright but you won’t see any money for it and if you are worthy of winning this competition, chances are you will have a sellable image!!

Don’t take too much stock in me complaining about white though, I’d tell Google to change if I had the chance.

About this contest though, the chance to win a 1Ds is really nice when combined with the fact that I just got a Rebel XT on e-bay. Another compact camera would be nice too. And a D40 would make a nice present for my sister. Even though she’s been trying to get a D50 or a D70, I doubt she’d give up a free 40.
