I photograph all types of subjects, but most of it has never been seen by the general public and chances are that it never will. Why you may ask, it is because it is called evidence, an official record of an event. It is still very challenging, but the viewers are selective. You become very good at shooting under adverse conditions and your subjects are not cooperative.

I guess you could say I do portrait photography or people photography. I love shooting people, whether it be those who see me coming or strangers in the park. Candids are definitely my favorite by far though, to me, they are the most genuine.

I live in the foot hills in southern Colorado and love taking landscape photos. When you look at a mountain at different times of the day different shadows and lighting show up making the mountain look bigger or wider than it acually is. Then in the fall you get the aspen leaves changing into their bright yellow color with some oak brush turning different shades of read.. If your out and get lucky you might run accross some wildlife such as a mule deer, elk, or if your really lucky a big horn sheep. There is just so much you can do in this area with land scape photograph it is never ending.

I mostly shoot dogs. Sometimes also other animals like cats, horsed, farm animals,... I just love to work with animals. Trough my lens I'm looking for their uniqueness, their character, the things they like.

Wow!!! Wish I had read this question a little while back! However, to answer the question I like to shoot different types. I enjoy the candids of kids at play or people on the street; trying to get (and see) the different angles of buildings (architecture); event photos (birthday parties, charity events, social events); sports event are a little tough but I enjoy the challenge as I don't yet have a 400 mm lens for that type of work. But my 55-200 mm does a helluva job on the playing field. My best and most favored is creative portraits. I'm no Nigel Barker, but the style and work is fun and challenging. The different people I have shot are really cool and artistic. They come with their own sense of creativity and that opens me up to putting the camera to the test - can I light it properly? am I using the correct speed? If I open/close the aperture, what kind of lighting effect will get? Stuff like that.
I like to give every type of photography style a chance. This way I can increase my repertoire.

I now focus on bird photography, it has helped to specialize, I used to teach photography as an arts and media teacher at TAFE, - no that dosen't make me an expert. In fact the opposite, the more you know,- the more you know you don't know!
One thing about learning photography is that you never get good enough or cease to stop trying to achieve the ultimate image. I love digital, best thing to happen.
I have covered all types of photography but bird and wildlife I have found to be the most exciting and satisfying, - you almost never get what you went for and always come back with what you didn't expect, - you also get to connect with the real world and experience some pretty special interactions between birds and animals.
Great to get away from the computer and out into the field, - fresh air and sunlight!

I am a pro. I love shooting just about anything. I've been a pro for about 9 years, but started shooting when I was about 8 years old with my mom's old Yashica camera.
I love photographing horses, people, fashion, nature, macro, SO many things. I love the Lensbaby and my macro lens. I also really love using my 70-200 lens for portraiture (bridals, seniors, fashion, baby, maternity, children) and equine...LOVE horses!
I'm looking forward to getting a new camera soon, hopefully one with HD video to add to my slideshows...that's going to be FUN!
I think I'd love street photography too, something I've never tried yet...but hope to play with soon!
I love shooting and making art!
