It’s strange that the EOS 450D (Rebel XSi) isn’t among the top ten, considering its high popularity after its predecessor, the EOS 400D (Rebel XTi). Then again, the statistics on Flickr may reflect the true picture (pun not intended) – there seems to be a lot more photos taken with the XTi uploaded to Flickr than the XSi.

I wish I had the budget for the EOS 40D, after I tried out my cousin’s 40D it felt really solid in my hands. With his EF 24-105mm f4 L lens and battery grip attached, it sure felt like a ton compared to my EOS 450D!

Just made the move from the Nikon D70s to the Nikon D90 and what change. I love the D90 and can’t believe its not on the list.

i defiantly recommend Canon or Nikon when it comes to dSLRs. most models are cheap, and very reliable. Olympus is a very good brand, but wayyyyyyyyy over priced. and Sony? well…they make good point and shoot cameras, as well as their handycam camcorders, but they are fairly new to the dSLR market.

I think its great to see the D50 still golding on fairly well! I’m disapointed that the D40 is even in the list, its a poor take off of the D50 and doesn’t even feel like an D-SLR to hold, oh well everyone makes mistakes!

good to see the e510 in there..as my first dslr it is a great performer with a brilliant price tag for a 2 lens kit and can only see it go from strength to strength

Tried both the D300 and Fuji S5 Pro. Loved the nikon but bought the Fuji. LOVING the color

I am also happy to see the D50 on the list. I just got mine from an ebay auction two weeks ago. I love it.

I actually read a lot of reviews on both the D50 and D70 and it seems that D50 is a better bargain for your buck. BTW, when the D50 came out some reviews were comparing it in quality to the D200.

Iused to swear by my Nikon, but having now used a Canon 30D (am I now out of the technology race?), I can’t fault it.

I too am surprised (happily so) to see the D50 so highly rated. I have been glad I kept it when I bought my D80 – and I am also surprised to see the D80 is at the top of the count for Nikon cameras. I love my camera; surprised how many others own it.
