Some things to consider: 1. Many, many members post photos that don't even fit the description of the assignment. Do you really want their voice to count equally among Saralonde, Wulf, Sime, etc? 2. If you do allow voting, how will you limit it to one per person? 3. I personally don't feel like wading through a thread with hundreds of posts trying to find the one image that really struck me. Could you develop a way to "vote as you go"? It would require the ability to vote on an image and then erase that vote if I vote for a different image later on. Seems possible if it's tied to my profile, but could be cost-prohibitive for initial development. One other thought: perhaps members can EARN the right to vote on images. Perhaps users could earn the right to vote by winning two assignments or having 500 posts? That would reward long-term users and eliminate giving votes to someone that just logged on a couple times.
