Bah – even THAT takes too long and is too complicated for such an easy task. Use Memory Manager instead of Adobe anything. Memory Manager costs $40, upgrades are free for life, and you get many tools that do the same things as Photoshop, but are EASIER and more intuitive (like straightening, red eye correction, burring, and cloning, to name a few) PLUS it’s the most superior way to organize your photos. I have 12,000+ photos in it and can find any combination of photos by people or subject in 30 seconds or less. http://tinyurl.com/4ytpx9

Demens - you could probably learn a thing or two from the tutorial. Looking at your gallery there are a few examples of photos you've taken which could do with a bit of horizon straightening (like this one). Get a life man.

Dont have Lightroom? Dont like having to edge crop in Photoshop.
Heres the easier solution , download Googles free editor “Picasa 2″. Poor editor! but I have it simply for the straighten tool. Works a treat.It will however save the resulting image as a jpeg so not perfect then. Its ok if the straighten is left till last and all your adjustments have been made to your raw image.

!! that’s so much easier than using photoshop and then hving to crop the edges!

i ususally turn on the “rules of third” guidelines on my camera so my horizons are straight mostly of the time thou

Yes, short and sweet indeed! One of these days I should get that piece of software.

(On the other hand, I rarely include horizons in my images for some reason.)

This “super short” video is about 45 seconds too long.

It also begs to question if the tip is useful. Because if you bought the US$299 software, it is quite probable that you know how to straighten images.
