Does anyone know of any other people currently doing something similar in SouthWest Nicaragua? There is a young boy here that would be a perfect candidate for such a wonderfully inspiring and uplifting opportunity.
Thanks!!

Saludos desde Nica!

This made me cry because I have worked in the past with children in Honduras and Mexico on short term missions. I am an artist of sorts...just beginning to express myself in this...and have wanted to go back and paint the children. I can see now that Photography would be a quicker way to get the stories told.

You have shown me my higher purpose and given me a way to reach out and connect the children and those who can and will help.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart,

Mary

I have often thought I would like to use my love for photography to help children in need. i had never thought about how wonderful it could be to have the children taking the pictures themselves and learning the art of photography! What a great idea! Thanks for the inspiration.

When Sam traveled to a place dear to my heart, Managua, Nicaragua I was excited to hear about her adventures. As time has progressed over the last year and a half I have realized that the photography is just a step towards opening the door to the rest of the world and for these children opportunities they may never have known.

Congratulations Sam! Keep up the work many of us dream about and you are acting upon. You have my support!

Dear Sam, thanks for this great and detailed article. Your story is very moving, we can feel how progressively you got involved and implicated in your actions with the children.
I am glad you gave some news from Kosal, I really wish him to achieve his dream. As long as there are people like you, I believe hope still exists…
