Nikon Coolpix S230

The Nikon Coolpix S230 is another of the S-Series Coolpix point and shoot cameras to be announced by Nikon today. This one features a 3x optical zoom lens, 3.0 inch LCD display, ten megapixel image sensor and 44 megabytes of internal memory.

The Nikon Coolpix S230 comes in a variety of colors – Plum, Jet Black, Night Blue, Gloss Red and Warm Silver.

It will hit stores this month (February 2009) with a retail price resembling its model number – $230 USD. It is already available at Amazon for ordering.

Also announced today by Nikon are the Nikon Coolpix P90, Nikon Coolpix S630, S620 and S220.
