Image of the Day: Great Composition

Today we spotted this striking image by photographer Mustafa AbdulHadi (from Bahrain) – he’s titled it ‘Chosen’.

The image was shot with a Canon EOS 60D and 70-200mm lens. The focal length was 200mm, shutter speed was 1/200, aperture was f5.6 and ISO was 400.

Mustafa has done really well here on a number of fronts and has certainly captured a moment in time beautifully. He’s used the rule of thirds, negative space and contrast/juxtaposition to create a powerful image.
