I agree with you that white balance is of the most importance… it is the one thing that can bring the most natural feeling to a photo or portrait. Being that I have some color deficiency with my eyesight, getting the white balance correct is the one thing I can do to get the most accurate colors without me having to make any color adjustments.

I must admit that, for this composition, I much prefer the “before” image.
