I came across the DPS Blog while looking for a beginner-level article on levels and curves. I noticed the forums and lurked around the place for a while and then signed up. Initially, I was a bit intimidated, since I was (still am) very new to photography, let alone digital photography. But the members are very knowledgeable, friendly and encouraging. Now I visit the forum on a regular basis.

Kudos to you, Mr.Rowse.

I have the site bookmarked and it opens to the blog. From there I enter into the forums. I read through the blog entries every time I notice a new entry at the top. I am in the forums at least once a day.
Keep up the great work!
I also subscribe to the weekly email - to find out what things I may have missed or to get a different perspective on a topic.

I just found the forums a couple of days ago (having finally picked up digital photography as a hobby about 2 weeks ago), through a link in a Livejournal post, and have been finding myself lost in it for hours on end. It was clicking on the blog page, and finding the older posts in here that made me decide to sign up for the forums.

There is an incredible wealth of knowledge here. The forums, for me, will take a little getting used to, as they're different from the other boards I've been on, but aside from that, as long as it's functional, it works for me :)
