Firstly, I love your site. I visit it often and gain new knowledge and ideas every time. The articles are basic and easy to understand as alas I am still a beginner in this new world of SLR photography. It was through this site that I heard of flickr and enjoy looking at peoples photos on a daily basis. Very eye opening.

The only thing that I find annoying is that when I click on a link it doesn't open a new window so I have to cut and paste that link into another window so I don't lose where I was on DPS. That's all. Thanks :)

If the ebook was reasonable priced then yes it would def be worth buying for someone like me.

I love this website. I love the vast amount of topics that are covered. I enjoy learning about all the different types of photography.
I would like to learn more photo editing/photoshop tips. Frequently I see photos where I can tell there is editing done on it, but no matter how much I tinker with my own photos I can never quite achieve the same effect. It would be nice to have more step by step editing ideas, and when the effects tends to work, compared to when they don't.
I would also like to learn more about lighting techniques, and suggestions on lighting your photos without having to go out and buy expensive studio lights/ equipment. (I really enjoyed the tutorials on flash.)
Written format seems great, with plenty of photo examples. I generally am chasing kids around and don't have much time to sit and dedicate time to a video. It's nice leaving up a page and coming back to it later when I get a chance.
I would love to support the site by purchasing an ebook, but honestly, I'm not sure how many more funds I can throw at photography. (Hence the suggestion for lighting tips).
It having digital camera reviews would be great, but even without them, I would still frequent this site.

This is one of the informative websites that I have found and I am so glad to have subscribed to it.

Questions - I wanted to participate in assigments but there is not specific insturctions as to how to do it( maybe I missed it and if I did please let me know).

Suggestions- I believe that photography is being able to express your creativity but can you please review pictures before uploading

What do you want to learn how to do? lighting combinations apreture and shutter indoor and outdoor
I want to learn to take very good pictures without editing using a software

What types of photography would you like to see us writing about? You should do varied topics because creativity is limitless and photography should encompass all
What formats of posts are more helpful for you (written, video etc)? written is ok
What features would you like to see added to the site? link to submit homeworks
Are there any topics you’d like to volunteer to write a tutorial or tip on (if so please include your email address in the email field - this will be kept private)? I wanted to volunteer on contributing that is my goal but I know that I can't this time as I consider myself not a pro yet

I am not sure if this is the place to put this note but it will help to improve the trust in DPS.
When you use sponsors please check them out before accepting their post.
I recently bought a DIY Wedding Photo guide from a P. Trumper site that was sponsoring DPS. It said that the guide was going to be downloadable to my computer but after I paid for it there was no indications of how to download the guide.
It was not much but I hate to be robbed. I trusted that site because it was in the DPS page.
Please check your sponsors.

Definitely mark articles P-n-S, dSLR, or both. Also mark articles beginner, intermediate, advanced/pro. These will allow visitors to skip content that they don't need or can't use.

An ebook? Hmmm...I've never purchased an ebook because my aging eyes cannot linger on a monitor for too long. I'd prefer a paperback book, maybe $15-25, maybe in a format small enough to fit into a camera bag.

Hi I would like to see a hand book on do's and don'ts. DPS is a great site, and we have beginers all the time.so dont change that side of DPS. As for camera Reviews, I would love to see how others get on with their choices.as I have said before you can take photos with an old box camera if you have the help.Plus I tell all my friend about DPS, but they cant find you,so why not have sent to friend Links.

I think I've registered but my user ID and/or my password don't seem to work. I'm 83 and not completely computer literate. So maybe it should be easier for people like me.
I read your DPS School info regularly but haven't been active in the forums.
I wanted to be included in "What kind of a camera I us" but couldn't get in. Anyhow, I use a Fuji Finepix7000 because I can't afford buying a camera PLUS multiple lenses. My camera is not good for distance and is slow on the uptake. I would like to be included in your "What kind of a camera" contest!
