Looking at you examples, your composition needs working on.Ken

PS. Are you describing light-painting,where you use a suspended flashlight, etc, or are you describing Painting with Light, where you illuminate interiors with multiple fashes?

It would be more likely to generate comments if you actually posted some information and images here rather than hoping people will follow your link and then take the time come back and interact.

Thanks for the comment Wulf,
The reason I do it this way is because my blog is linked to other sites also and I would rather not post the same info to multiple places, it is just easier to post it on my blog and the put the link here.

Hi Hunter,
just wanted to let you know that I did read your blog and found it interesting, thank you. I have included a couple of example images on my page here and really think you helped a lot. So you did indeed reach some of us, sorry to not write sooner. Been too bust looking for a new job.
David.

Thanks for the post Ken,
I am up for tips you might have on composition, Just post em here and I would be glad to read them and you could post some examples too.
Light painting has several different techniques and the flashlight does not have to be suspended but it can be if you are trying to create spirograph type images.
The technique I am describing is using a light source to illuminate or draw on a subject.

IMO, should be called "drawing with light"...

"Light painting" refers to the illumination of object(s) with a light source independent from the natural light available...

I do appreciate your post and examples of work but IMO, the examples you've shown do not require a tutorial.
