Default Basic Texture Tutorial

If you've never tried to use a texture on an image, here's how I do it on Photoshop CS3. It should work in Elements also.
I find almost all my textures on the Textures for Layers group. The one below is by ninianlif.

There are other ways to do this, but this is my version.

Thanks for a great tutorial. Can't wait to try this out!!!! It was your tutorial that finally nudged me to advance from a newsletter subscriber to a member with the rights to comment! I am an Elements user and was so happy to see that this could be used by us as well as those with the full version of PS.
