Are you aware that you need to be 18 to participate in microstock sites?

I believe you will find that any of the microstock agencies that allow you to contribute images, would be acting illegaly. Ken

You obviously haven't carefully read a thing.

http://www.123rf.com/terms.php

Quote:
YOU REPRESENT, WARRANT AND COVENANT THAT:

1. You are at least 18 years of age and have the right to enter into this Agreement;
http://www.canstockphoto.com/legal.php

Quote:
The Supplier warrants that he or she is at least 18 (eighteen) years of age and has the right to grant the license contained in this Contract
http://www.bigstockphoto.com/tos.html

Quote:
1. Consent.
You must be at least 18 years of age to register with BigStockPhoto to provide content. BigStockPhoto may require that you provide sufficient proof that you are at least 18 years of age. Minors can become members only by having their parent or legal guardian register on their behalf. By opening such an account, the parent or legal guardian authorizes the minor to use and agrees to be bound personally by the terms and conditions of this agreement.
So, no... you did not read the terms and conditions. You only read what you wanted to read. You are not 18 and therefore cannot legally sign a legal document. You are acting against the EULA and are subject to rejection on this basis.

Sorry kid, your out of luck on this one. Frankly, it's a little insulting that you'd try to pass off your nonchalant attitude towards the TOS's as you actually doing your homework. It's painfully obvious that you haven't actually read anything and propagating this is a fraud of your own character.

Nice tutorial...I'll have to try a few of these sites.

Currently, I have 5 photos on Dreamstime, which has been the only site to accept my photos. In the last 3 weeks, I've made a whopping $0.24. These are nice photos...in fact, 4 out of 5 have made Flickr Explore.

Crestock denied all 5 of the same photos. Don't waste your time with them.

Shutterstock has an application process. You submit 10 photos, 7 of which have to be accepted for your application to pass. Currently, I only have 4 photos that have passed (1 out of the 5 in that set). They give pretty decent reasons for rejections, though some of them are a bit off.

Istock is a pain in the ass. They also have an application process, but only require three photos. Twice I've been denied with "photos are too similar"...what the hell kind of rejection is that?

In the last month, I've probably spent the same amount of time on stock photography as I have on my blog and free-lancing. Using Google Adsense, I've made about $5 this week (with one post a week) on my blog. Doing freelancing, I've made $120 (4 10-minute shoots for a local paper). Compare that to the lousy $0.24 I've made in stock photography (which I don't get until it's up to $100), and I say it's a waste of time.
