Awesome intro, definitely an attention grabber.

The tutorial brought somethings to my attention I hadn't even considered...

Now to just convince someone to let me "borrow" one of their flashy cars/trucks for the day, any tips on that one?

see my other tutorial about car shows and what not.

Suggestions for shooting car events

The idea there was that you are a part of the car community. I put out an ad in a few of the local forums for cars that I'd shoot for a very very small fraction of my price if I could get them to let me use the car for a few hours.

Typically when I shoot a car, the owner is with me the entire time, moves the car for me (Rule #1, never touch another person's car without asking, PERIOD), allows me inside the car... does burnouts or whatever they decide to do (beyond parking it).

Once your name gets out there, people will contact you about doing stuff for them.

I typically sell posters and stuff to the owner(s).

Car god.

He was nice enough to bring one of his own.

(I'll delete this if it's considered a thread fart.)

Very nice...like the out of frame look and the inclusion of the emblem in the composition

I saw that page... not really all that impressed with their work... rather dull.

Nice cars... drab photography.

Couple of mine.

There was a nasty freezing fog a couple weeks back and I decided to brave it to get a quick shot one night. WB was way off but I'm still new enough to digital that I don't feel bad forgetting things like that.

And one where I was playing with B&W in camera.

And just a snapshot of my Camaro before I sold it.
