Thanks James, I will have to try this. You've take an okay picture and made it more interesting with this effect.

Love the effect you were able to get out of this picture. It really makes it pop now compared to the original. Turned from a simple Meh to Wow.

Something that I believe i will have to try for sure.

@james-dolan: Thanks for posting this tutorial. I'm new around here, and new to dSLR; this tutorial was my very first attempt at 'post production' work on one of my images.

Here's what I came up with:
