The principles of using a DSLR are the same as any other camera, except the DSLR will possibly be a lot more responsive and have better performance.
By changing the lens it can be set up for specific jobs as almost the perfect camera for that job. Also read the manual to see how you change settings for your camera.

Default sun drenched portrait tutorial please

I have seen so many portraits lately that seem to be taken outdoors with bright sunlight at the edge of lens flare; the pics seem moderately overexposed, usually of children or girls, lots of light on the hair. Default Learning my Fstop

Cant figure out my Fstop for my Cannon 7D do you have any suggestions on where I can begin! I have to book but just doesn't seem to click so if there was somewhere online I could check out but just haven't come across the right places yet.

Id like something about graduation pics Idk if you have a tutorial or not but any info will help my nephew is graduating and his mom has asked me to take pics it may be outside and it may be dark.

What sort of camera will you be using and if it is a DSLR what lenses do you have?
Are flashguns allowed?

How far away will you be from the subjects?
