Default Starting a series of HDR Tutorials

I published the first of a series of HDR tutorials that is supposed to cover the parts of the processing that others do not include in their workflow.

Blog Post: Starting a series of HDR tutorials Ingo Meckmann Photography – The Blog

And the link to the first tutorial that I released today:

Part 1 - High Noon Light HDR:

I would really appreciate your feedback - also negative - in order to keep this an ongoing process with updating the tutorial with new/better tips/ideas.

Looks good. You seem to fill in some of the information gaps that the other tutorials skip over. Any tips to avoid that "'Flickr HDR" look are welcome because I prefer the more subtle HDR (most of the time). I only have the trial version of Photomatix, but I can still follow along. Even with my ND grad, I still get blown out skies or dark foregrounds, so it's nice to have HDR as another option.

Default New HDR Tutorial available - Shooting in the Darkness of the night

I just released part 2 of my HDR Tutorial - this time talking about shooting in the darkness of the night.

Besides the step-by-step process I cover topics on how to calculate the proper exposure at night for shutter speeds of 30+ seconds and I explain long exposure noise reduction and it's pro and contra.

Haven't read your tuts because I'm just not interested in HDR.. but one thing I hope you include is discussion on how to avoid "halos" that are so prevelant in HDR and are generally considered signs of bad HDR processing. I think that would help out beginners tremendously.
