Default Fireworks are Dangerous !

Sometimes you feel like a NUT .... adding a star filled night sky was a good start, but then I kinda blacked out and when I came to...I saw these... I guess I was under a spell or something

Now don't go thinking I have any intention of giving these to the bride and groom .. I'm just playing around and trying different things, really just having fun.

I have a story for you.

I live in Japan. One day I was out driving around and started across this narrow 2 lane bridge. At the end of the bridge is a concrete company. About 10 cars ahead of me was a concrete mixer and when he got to the end of the bridge he, of course, went to turn into the factory. I saw him begin his turn and then saw the back right side of his truck sort of lift up in the air like he had run over something big. This all happened in a split second. As soon as his back side went up there was this huge explosion like you see in the movies and things were flying all over the place. I slammed on my brakes and a piece of something bounced off my windshield. Now, I was about 50-75 meters behind this truck so that stuff was flying. I looked to each side of the bridge and both banks along the river were on fire. Needless to say I was scared to death. I somehow managed to back up and maneuver my car around headed the other way and scurried out of there as fast as I could.

Later that evening I was at the pool room telling everyone what had happened earlier and one of the guys, who works for the fire department, said that he was called in for that one. What had happened was there was a small truck in front of the cement mixer. On the small truck was a crate of fireworks, those big ones like you see at ball games, 4th of July etc... Anyway, the crate fell off of the small truck and the cement mixer ran over it and the fireworks exploded. No injuries.

I tell ya, that wasn't long after 9/11 and seeing an explosion like that scared the bejeezus out of me. Since then, every time I see fireworks that memory pops into my head. hehe!!!

Thanks for the good laugh this morning, Vin. You're sure having fun with these and I know that the final product will be just great -- thanks so much for sharing these fun "in between" stages with us. I love the way you keep tweaking it until you get what you want -- since I haven't done much PP work yet it's very inspirational to me to see your creativity in this way. Wish me luck -- I just got PS Elements and my life is going to change .....
