Love these point-and-shoot cameras. I may never 'graduate' to a DSLR.

This really is a fantastic shot, the lines are great. I really like the contrast and the texture of the walls and the rocks. Very well done.

Great use of such simple subject matter. It comes across as a very powerful shot, especially in black and white. Thanks for Sharing!

Welcome to DPS and a great shot you have here, nicely captured against that wall, I too love point and shoots for they are discreet, thanks for sharing, cheers Steve.

Welcome to DPS. Great b&w shot. Great texture of the wall and position of the bike.

I love all those contrasting textures! Welcome to DPS, pjfinn. I felt that way about my P&S for a very long time. There's no need for a DSLR until you just can't do without it -- the quality of the photo is the point. I'll look forward to seeing more wonderful ones from you!

Very nicely done. You seem to do quite well with you P&S, and if you're happy and confortable, then no need to "graduate." There are plenty of members here who take fantastic shots with P&S.
I use both my P&S and DSLR. Sometime I just don't want to carry the "big boy" but other times, having the control is what you need for the shot. I bought my DSLR under a year ago and still have a lot to learn, and there are some photos that I've taken that I probably would have been happier with had I used the P&S . . .
