Hi All, We've had several days of heavy rains here with the net result of snow in the local mountains. My wife was kind enough to drive me around yesterday afternoon right before sunset to take some photos of the snow. First up is a few of my faves. I have a bunch to go through so I'll share more later on. Hope you enjoy! Any thoughts etc... are always greatly appreciated.
** One note... they do look a lot better in the larger version. Just click the image to view it larger. All of these are of the San Bernardino Mountain Range.
Alittle obscured by the clouds but, I like how dramatic they made it look.

Fred, the lighting is so perfect! These are just beautiful. And since I grew up in California the title to your thread reminds me of the one time it snowed down in Fallbrook during my growing up years -- school was cancelled because the bus drivers couldn't drive on an inch of snow, and all the kids were outside trying to have snowball fights with that tiny amount!

So that is where all of the snow is coming from...CA, we have had 12 inches since Saturday and it sure going to make for some nice shots. Really enjoyed yours Fred, excellent light that produced long shadows!

Yeah, it might snow but, as Albert Hammond taught us, "it never rains in California."
