Hi JFisher I love your picture especially in the black and white conversion. I like that you included the coins. you did a great job. Thanks for sharing it with us.
I have the same hobby. I collect money, I'm just not too good at it. I keep spending it. LOL Dave.

I really like the tone of this shot, it just works. I like the contrast too and the DoF works well. Thanks for sharing

I really like the idea and you executed very well.
It toke my attention three elements from your photo: 1. I see a 5 Pesos bill from México. I am a mexican living in California and when I was a kid my father always gave me 5 pesos on Sundays to buy whatever I wanted or just for saving, so, that bill bring me a lot of great memories. 2. Under the 5 pesos bill, I can see a 100 pesos bill, and let me tell you in the time when those bills were used, the person who carry one was considered as a rich one. 3. I see also a 2 dollar bill, and I want to take the opportunity to ask: when those bills were used here in the States?. Cheers. Last edited by Rehesan; 01-20-2010 at 10:26 PM. |

Thank you all for your comments.
Rehesan, thanks for your kind comments. When I was a kid, my Dad went to Mexico and came back with this for my coin collection. It is neat to hear from someone who knows something about them (because I don't). Its also great to know that the picture brought up some memories. The two dollar bill in the picture was printed in 1953. I think the $2 was re-issued again in 1976 to celebrate the bicentennial. Thanks again!! |
