Great shots... i love the 2nd one... it has a very nice DoF! with the first shot maybe you cropped it too much but still is a great photograph..

I personally like the second one much better, there is just something about flowers that looks more magical when it's close up. Most of my "art photography" is flowers and i find that taking a shoot of an entire bouquet just looks..meh, like "hey look at those, they were pretty", but if you really get into your flower, real close, you can then find there textures and all there intricate designs, which is beautiful, stunning....wow, I'm out of words on how flowers are designed with such a precise miniature details...breath taking. try macro, if you want even more fun, get a lens barrel, to attach between your lens and camera, then look at those flowers, i'm sure you'll discover a world of magic...it's so fun!!!
