Default Bug 1 (Tell the name if you know)

Hi Guys. As I am having P&S camera only, I do close up shots more than other type of shots. I am going to share with you the series of bugs I shot so far. All of them are colorful and hope you like it. As I donno any of their names, I wish to hear it from u.

Stunning, I mean it.
When I clicked on this thread and saw the first picture(my favourite of the two) I was stunned, my jaw dropped.
What a nice macro you shared, so sharp and colorful.

Awesome! I am a little sqeamish about bugs, but spent a little google time, and came up with this -- see if you think it might be a match.

"Scutelleridae are otherwise known as shield-backed bugs, a reference to the fact that their shield is continuous, not divided."

This guy with a similar photo believes it is a shield bug, which seems to fit the googling I did... he has some more specific info under his photo.

I don't know what kind it is, but it sure is a beauty! I really like the 1st shot,, well composed. Sharp focus.
