Stunning, I mean it.
When I clicked on this thread and saw the first picture(my favourite of the two) I was stunned, my jaw dropped. What a nice macro you shared, so sharp and colorful.

Awesome! I am a little sqeamish about bugs, but spent a little google time, and came up with this -- see if you think it might be a match.
"Scutelleridae are otherwise known as shield-backed bugs, a reference to the fact that their shield is continuous, not divided." TrekNature | Scutelleridae - Metallic Shield Bug Photo This guy with a similar photo believes it is a shield bug, which seems to fit the googling I did... he has some more specific info under his photo. |
