Default Wonderful Wild West...NZ

Well here we are, back again, after a wonderful week away, just laxing out, visiting a few friends, and finally spending time with our Son & Daughter in the Wairarapa. Though the weather wasn't really kind to the photographer, we managed to get a few shots to share. I hope you enjoy them.

Picturesque Marakopa Falls. NZ

Picturesque Marakopa Falls, NZ
Absolutely beautiful, and well worth the walk through the bush to reach them.

Rugged Rock Formations, West Coast. NZ

Rugged Rock Formations.
The landscape in the Waitomo region is very rugged, but very beautiful, if you like the great outdoors as we do. The rougher the better and much more adventurous.....

Two Farm Horses

These faithful creatures are the main source of transport for the farmers in this region.

Thankyou Dave. The weather didn't allow for much shooting this trip, but hey, it was fun anyway.

Many thanks Calai. That waterfall is just beautiful most of the time. Things have to very dry before it loses it's beauty.

Thankyou Leona. It is quite interesting and a bit of a challenge to explore the West Coast areas as the terrain is so steep. You have to be a mountain goat to access some of it.

Thankyou Helen. It certainly was a great weeks adventure...enjoyed every minute of it, regardless of the weather.

Thankyou Mike. I love cutting loose in the wide open spaces whenever possible...leave the rush and bustle behind and head for the hills. These hills need a lot of energy lol.
