Talking Shellie20 - random shots

Made a promise to myself to start posting more images on DPS.

So, to honour my promise, here are some completely random shots.

1 = a bumble bee nest (I had never seen one, so I thought had better snap it) - was taken with my old budget camera (Fuji Finepix).

2 = this is a fun ride thing from the 2009 Chinese Lantern Festival in Feb - I was most disgusted, they said I was too old to ride it. This pic was taken the day after I got my Nikon. So for a first time night shot with it, I didnt think it was too bad considering I only had a day to play with the camera.

3 = just a rooster pic that was taken at the Auckland Zoo late last year

4 = the zebras from the zoo on the same day.

Enjoy.

They are all great shots Michelle, the bumble bee one is interesting, it reminds us that you can take a good shot with any camera.

The festival one has great colour & movement, the rooster pic has fabulous colour and as for the poor zebra, he looks like he's about to get a nasty kick in the head!

Cheers,

ha ha ha, he did get a kick in the head, the poor thing. He shook his head (could just about see the tears LOL) and took off over the other side of the enclosure.

Thanks for your comments.

All Great captures Michelle, love the kicking Zebra and that Rooster, at first I thought it may have been one of those many roadside Roosters that keep getting dumped for crowing to early in the morning, we have hundreds around the Waikato, and am guilty also of giving one a re-location program, cheers Steve.
