Default Light through the trees
Figured I'd just jump in. I took this with my little P&S when we were in Sonoma County in November. We visited Armstrong Woods in Guerneville and showed our daughter the redwoods there. I was really pleased when I got home and saw this picture. My husband even thought it was wallpaper worthy.



I have to say, I've only been hanging around here for a few days, but I can't believe how much I've already learned!

I'm such a sucker for photos that have awesome light effects. Especially lens flares and sun rays. Wonderful!

Welcome, that's a great photo to begin with, hope to see lots more. It just goes to show it's not always necessary to have great gear to get a great shot.
