Hello and Happy New Year,
Here is Hooch, my friend Roger's Border Collie who happens to be blind, but is still pretty playful and very friendly. Roger has MS ( Multiple Scriosis <- I can't spell it ) and he told me it's a perfect match, Hooch needs Roger and Roger needs Hooch ![]() and here is Donna ( she actually didn't tell me her name ) and she is eating a carrot someone gave her... when I got to the beach where these Deer come often, someone had put down about a full sack of feed corn and some raw veggies for them.. I do not agree with feeding wild animals, but we are having a very harsh and cold winter on Long Island, so I guess an exception is ok, ![]() Donna looks quite healthy , some years the deer look pretty ragged with ribs showing this time of year, but they are doing pretty well for themselves this winter. thanks for taking a look, 2010 is gonna be a great photography year, I can just feel it ! Vin

I think so too....but time will tell won't it? As far as the feed is concerned...at least it is natural and shouldn't hurt the deer.....missed seeing you here

Awesome photos and really good stories to go with them. I always believe in exceptions to the rules...

Hi Vin. I must say, these are amazing shots. Love them both. I also dont think feeding them once in a blue moon is too bad. They are probably very grateful that you did! Great narrative to go along with your images. Just goes to show the old saying is true - dog is truely mans best friend. TFS.

Hi Vin! nice captures with with equally wonderful narrative to go along with them..the story of Hooch and Roger is heartwarming..i think life in general is like that..we all need someone to lean on may it be pets or love ones..it's all a big symbiosis of giving and taking..
love the sharpness of the deer..taken on a sunrise or sunset? the sun gave the deer's fur a warm glow.. Happy New Year too! may 2010 be truly a great year for us all. happy clicking!
