Default December Photo Walk

Northern California enjoys a Mediterranean climate, so today was a gorgeous, sunny day. We took advantage of the weather and went on a photo walk through the Thousand Oaks area of Berkeley, California.

There are still flowers blooming:

Yellow Flowers

Lavender Irises

But we aren't without fall color, either (yes, even in December):

These are all beautiful captures, it sure does look like a gorgeous day for a walk especially with a camera in hand. My fave is the fall shot, amazing to see that in December.

Superb detail in the Irises. Gorgeous shots all round, a nice mix of spring and autumn in your alleged winter. (I believe there are people up north who would dispute the 'alleged' right about now!)

Thanks for sharing, these made my day.

How wonderful -- summer flowers and fall leaves in mid December! These are all just beautiful, with great depth of field on the first three, and nice composition on the last. Thanks for sharing them.
