Default Harsh Winter? What to Do? Look for Kind Neighbors!

After seeing a couple of nice bird feeders at Ace Hardware I decided to make one of my own out of scrap wood I had in my workshop. I purchased a feed bell and now the birds are flocking in to have their picture taken.

This lovely Cardinal made himself right at home on the feeder. His mate, unfortunately, would not come into eat. Maybe next time.

Bery very pretty....you are very lucky...when I lived back East, I think I only ever saw a few cardinals and they were gone within minutes....

I just love cardinals, our wonderful winter visitors. I especially like your first photo with the falling snow and the wonderful composition.
