Thanks Ty. Not so brave. I'm no oil painting, but small children don't always run away screaming. Thanks Ella, glad I made you laugh! Quote:
For comparison purposes, three and a half decades ago and still with an SLR in hand. Not sure if it's the Minolta SRT101 or the Nikon FTN. ![]() eta: Thanks Jennie, there are two sides to every story and at least two sides to every person. Also, it must be the Nikon, I never had an L-Grip when I had the Minolta!

Sneaky bump so that people can see me the way I still think of me (it's such a shock to look in the mirror, that's why I don't shave!), and to confirm that that is my old Nikon FTN with the removable pentaprism and swap-able ground glass focussing inserts. It is wearing a Nikkor nifty fifty with a little flare hood. What a tube of glass that was. Technically, I still own that camera, but I left it in San Angelo, TX about a dozen years ago. It wouldn't surprise me at all if the ex-roomy with whom I left it had sold it or chucked it.

Jim, I had a pair of pants like that once. They are probably floating somewhere around the cosmos along with my polyester leisure suit! Don't want the clothes back, but I'd sure like to have the old face and body back. A great, fun post and good to see you!

Another member falls on their sword and bares all in the name of art and photography I love the extra picture, back in the late sixties I had a couple of pairs of hipsters and various body hugging shirts with assorted collars, all my shorts now are xxxl, with the trousers going the same way.
