Default Eliminating distraction

Steve and I arrived in time to see the Santa parade in Hamilton on Sunday. I chose to do selective colouring with these to eliminate the distraction of the crowd and the surroundings.

I like the selective colouring. In the first picture, it looks like Santa is flying, they are all great pictures.

That's a great technique to pull the eye to the parade but still get in the atmosphere of there being a crowd in attendance. You've really got selective colouring down pat now, don't you?

Thanks for sharing.

ps Santa's helper is pretty darn cute!

These are all good Angela, you are really getting the selective colouring thing very good. I especially like the first shot of Santa and the construction of the float. It looks like he is flying over the rooftops. With some eliminating of the background I might even believe in Santa again.

You've captured the atmosphere of the Santa parade beautifully. Its colourful, fun, has lots of children and even more smiles and the PP work allows the viewer to focus on the main subject more easily, well done Angela
