Nice! I like shots of 'working' boats better than their supermodel cousins, the luxury yachts.

Sad to see that they have left so much room for more names on the memorial.

Thanks for sharing.

Interesting shots, Fred. The first is my favorite. Morro Rock makes a great backdrop.

Love all of these Fred, you've captured some of my favorite things to photograph - boats! They're like a magnet to me! Morro Bay looks like the kind of place I could easily meander around for hours. You also captured some lovely weather - wish I'd had more of that out here west this week!

Hi Jim, I'm with you. I prefer the working boats too. I guess it's the fisherman in me. I'm glad you liked today's offering. Thanks for looking!

You know what? It makes a fantastic back drop. I have a couple images of Morro Rock that I'll share this weekend. Thanks Mike!

Morro bay is a fun place to stop in for awhile. Small shops, lots of nice eateries and, a laid back way of life. More importantly, some excellent photo opportunities. We enjoyed our short visit there. Glad you enjoyed it Nicky.

I so much agree with Just Jim here Fred. These 'working 'boat' images convey the true nature of those who sail the seas. I can almost smell the atmosphere from your shots. The last shot of the memorial reminds me that every time a boat goes out, a Mum, wife, son or daughter is sitting at home worrying until it returns. Thanks Bro. PAUL
