Default Run Down Home

I saw this old, run down home a couple of weeks ago and thought it would be a great place to shoot. I went back today and got the shots. Here are a few shots I enjoyed, I hope you do too.

front door

This is by far the creepiest picture I have taken. I was right up to the porch door frame shooting through the house to the back door. The smell that was coming from the house was REALLY bad. This picture makes me feel like it's out of a Stephen King novel... I just keep waiting for a shadow to cross the walk way, or an arm with loose wet skin to reach out and grab me...

crack

This little weed/flower is the strangest thing. I didn't see it till I was editing the photo, but there's a very distinct smiley face on the pedal of this... I swear it's not photoshopped, it was just naturally there. Just another weird little quirk about this place.

Wow, creepy old house, I think there would be a whole lot more photo opportunities there, if your game.

I shot a lot more outdoor pics, but I couldn't make myself go in, the smell was just too bad... Plus, it's winter in Wisconsin, God knows what kind of animals have decided to make it their home from the elements!

Creepy, indeed! But what fun photos. Love the last one, beautiful even without the smiley inset.
