Default Diagonal lines

I've started reading this book about composition techniques, so I thought I'll try this one on diagonal lines to lead the eye - and give it a place to rest:

Quilts

Comments appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
First.

Nice shot! I like how resourceful you were with finding subjects for your project. The colors are lovely here too. Just out of interest, what is the book you're reading?

Thanks. "The Photographer's eye" by Michael Freeman. I'd highly recommend it - really opened up my mind to composition possibilities.

Michael Freeman is no slouch.

He'd be proud of this shot. Love the bright, vivid colour.

I've just finished reading that one as well. Some great concepts, and you've really put this one into practice. Thanks for sharing it.
